Where They Started
Joshua Mohr built Essence Body Art on a foundation of safety, professionalism, and genuine care for every client who walks through the door. The studio is all-inclusive and committed to making people feel comfortable, respected, and confident, whether it's someone's first piercing or their fifteenth. He had the reputation. He had the reviews. What he needed was a website that matched all of it.
The original site wasn't doing justice to what Joshua had built. It didn't reflect the studio's welcoming environment or the quality of his work, and it was missing the basic SEO structure that helps local clients find a business when they search online. A potential client searching for a piercing studio in Eau Claire deserved to land on something that felt as trustworthy as Joshua is in person.
What We Built
We rebuilt the site on Squarespace 7.1 with a design that's colorful, clean, and built around the energy of the studio itself. The layout guides visitors naturally from learning about Joshua and his approach, through the services he offers, and all the way to booking. Every page is structured to answer the questions a new client would have before their first appointment, so they arrive already feeling comfortable and confident.
On the SEO side, we set up the full foundation: meta titles and descriptions on every page, content structured for local search, and writing that reflects both Joshua's voice and the keywords his potential clients are actually searching. We also wrote and edited the site copy to match the studio's inclusive, welcoming identity and tie everything back to their mission: Enhance Your Uniqueness through expert body piercing tailored to you.
How It's Working
Since launch, Essence Body Art's website has become a real part of how Joshua runs his business. New clients find him online and arrive already feeling comfortable, because the site answered their questions before they ever walked in the door.
